In the INFORMATION AGE, what could be MORE IMPORTANT than a LIBRARY?
We SPECIALIZE in INFORMATION

POWER and POSSIBILITY...
SUPPORT YOUR PUBLIC LIBRARY

Dear Neighbor,

In times of economic turmoil, the library steps up to provide you, and the greater community, with excellent, free resources.  A wealth of information is at your fingertips in the library OR on our web site.  Just CLICK on the icons at the left of your screen and  enter your library barcode number.  If you prefer, come to the beautiful, friendly facility on Kerr Street.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has further cut funding for libraries by 9% for a total of 20%.  It is up to the members of the individual communities to decide the importance of these cultural, educational, necessary offerings. The library is in need of $50,000 this year. Please help us to reach our goal by donating early, and often.  Please take advantage of the entertaining fundraising events planned and executed by the Board of Trustees periodically throughout the year....participate and have fun!

It is good citizenship to support the library and we ask for your help in maintaining the facility, and adding programming when the need arises in 2010.  To that end, we ask that you make your tax deductible gift payable to the Burgettstown Community Library.

As an ending for the summer Reading Program, we are hosting our ANNUAL BOOK SALE the weekend of August 14, 2010.  On Saturday, August 14, 2010 we are also hosting a Barbecue and Fun Fair for Families.  ALL are invited to attend!

We sincerely thank you for your support,
The Board of Trustees of the Burgettstown Community Library
